MEZYAD DESERT PARK, VISITOR CENTER AND HOTEL COMPLEX - Mezyad, UAE

The Desert Park is to become a national park for restoring and preserving the flora, fauna, archaeology, geology and natural environment of the stoney plain and foothills to the east side of Jebel Hafit. The main objective of the project is to document, restore and protect the rich environment of this unique site and to promote and communicate the significance of its heritage.

The Park is located on a 40Km² land at the foothills of Jebel Hafit, the highest mountain in the UAE. The Project will include:

• A 5,000m² Visitor Centre
• Visitor Centre Exhibition
• Visitor Center Car Park
• Entrance Landscape and Access to Mezyad Oasis
• Desert Park Restoration
• Nursery, Maintenance and Research Centre and Seed Bank
• Park Transport Infrastructure and Walking Routes
• Satellite Structures - permanent and / or temporary
• Desert Park Service Infrastructure
