STREET LIGHTING FOR THE NORTH OF LEBANON – Caza of the North, Lebanon

The project is part of the program to provide lighting for the whole of Lebanon. The present project sets out to evaluate the existing road lighting facilities for North Lebanon on the 1600km road network. Sketches of all roads are to bring out where lighting exists and its condition – to be detailed in spread sheets. Details of the needs are brought out to allow evaluation of costs. In a second phase lighting for 500km are to be designed.

Services Undertaken included :

Phase 1: Investigation and Assessment of existing Lighting Installations (1600km) after an Exhaustive Survey bringing out on hard and soft copies position of existing lighting facilities where available. The details are consigned on specially prepared sketches of the 1600km of roads with corresponding survey sheets.

Phase 2: Preparation of Preliminary Designs for 500km and establishment of Cost Estimate for the project.
