RECONSTRUCTION OF OIL DEPOTS AND GAS INSTALLATIONS IN THE DORA AREA, UNITERMINALS

Reconstruction and Extension of the facility (approx. 17,000m²), land reclaimed from the sea (approx. 9,000m²) and to introduce safety requirements. The plan was reviewed and approved by Foster Wheeler France. Work included:

  • Infrastructure network including roads, sewer and drainage systems and pipeways
  • Protective works to the land reclamation area (approx. 100m of breakwater)
  • Construction of 5 welded steel oil tanks with a total storage capacity of approx. 55,000m³
  • Construction of 14 welded steel tanks for chemical products with a total storage capacity of 12,000m³
  • Installation of a 1600m sea-line, 10" to depths of 14m with flexible hose
  • Installation of a 800m sea-line, 6" with flexible hose
  • Installation of a multiple buoy mooring for 30,000 DWT vessels in 14m depths
  • Displacement of an existing loading rack for chemicals
  • Construction of a new 150m² loading rack on land reclaimed from the sea
  • Construction of a 80m² pump room including 4 oil pumps
  • Construction of pipe line manifolds and manifolds bases
  • Construction of a store and boiler room
  • Retention boundary walls

Services undertaken include Preparation of Master Plans, Detailed Designs, Working Drawings, Fabrication Drawings, Project Control and Construction Supervision.
