URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION KHAN AL ASKAR - Tripoli – Lebanon
The proposed Cultural Heritage and Urban Development project has the following four components:
- Rehabilitation of Khan Al Askar located in The Historic Old City of Tripoli.
- Historical Building Conservation and Management.
- Emphasize the significance and values of the building.
- Setting up new function for the Historical building
Services Undertaken include:
- Full description of the building; Written report, Photographic and Metric Surveys
- Full documentation of the building; identification and mapping of Historical, Architectural, Structural, Technical and Mechanical elements
- Architectural Heritage Impact Assessment
- Establishment of a Reuse Program
- Set up a Program Definition and Conceptual Design
- Preliminary Cost Estimate / Business Plan / Administrative Files
- Preparation of Design-Build Tender Documents including Site Layout Plan & Landscape design, Architectural and surface restoration, Structural Consolidation, Infrastructures design drawings, reports, costs estimate, Draft Operation & Maintenance Manual, Draft Instructions to Tenderers, Contract Special Conditions.
- Technical Assistance to the Client
