URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION IN SAIDA AND TYRE - Lebanon
The proposed Cultural Heritage and Urban Development project has the following three components:
- Rehabilitation of The Historic City Center and Urban Infrastructure improvements. These activities will be carried out in and around the old cities of Saida and Tyre.
- Archeological Site Conservation and Management.
- Institutional Strengthening. This component includes complementary technical assistance and capacity building services.
Services Undertaken include:
- Review of bid documents and other relevant documentation, urban studies, etc.
- Tender review and award
- Identification and protection of antiquities
- Review and complete the urban and infrastructure designs and drawings.
- Supervision of Works
- Environmental mitigation measures
- Socio-economic mitigation measures
- Cost Control
