URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION BAALBEK AND TYRE ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROJECT – PHASE 1
The proposed Cultural Heritage and Urban Development project has the following three components:
- Rehabilitation of the Archaeological Sites Presentation and Infrastructure improvements.
- Archeological Site Conservation and Management.
- Institutional Strengthening. This component includes complementary technical assistance and capacity building services.
Services Undertaken include:
- Finalize the 1st phase tender documents (including Specs, BOQs and preliminary design)
- Technical assistance to the client in the tendering procedure
- Prepare detailed mapping of the elevations alterations and the current structural state of some standing monument.
- Prepare execution drawings of the consolidation actions
- Prepare execution drawings of the presentation and landscaping project
- Prepare execution drawings of the Bustan Raad entrance, built-up utilities and lapidarium storage.
- Prepare execution drawings for civil works of the visitors center in Beit Nassif
- Prepare a Project for Tyre sites entrances and utilities
- Prepare execution drawings for civil works of the museum and facilities in Bass site in Tyre
- Reevaluate the quantities in the BOQ according to the accurate surveys and detailed execution drawings.
- Forward the various preparations of the project to the project 2nd phase consultant
- Supervision o Works and submission of shop drawings of executed works to the consultant of the project 2nd phase.
