The project consists of the Selection of Alternative Sites for Solid Waste management in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, North Lebanon and Akkar and Compost Market Analysis. The project also included the preparation of a Report on Saida Solid Waste Treatment Plant.
Services Undertaken included The work undertaken consists of investigating the possibility of locating additional landfill sites for Beirut , Mount Lebanon, North Lebanon and Akkar service areas. Works also included the preparation of topographic surveys, expropriation plans, hydrogeological and geotechnical investigations followed by environmental impact Reports, compost market analysis in Lebanon and a legal review of the situation at the Saida Solid Waste Treatment plant.
