This project consists of the upgrading of the Power Plants in Hail-2 and Juba in KSA to improve the power production efficiency by means of adding cooling (heat rejection) devices to the turbine inlets. This has necessitated the construction / installation of cold water storage tanks, compressor area, transformer area, pipe racks, support structure for the heat rejection devices, inlet air cooling devices and their supports.
Services undertaken include
Complete design and drafting, preparation of design calculations, development of final design drawings for the Civil Works (consisting mainly of but not limited to Equipments foundation design, Concrete structure design, Steel structure design and infrastructure design), detailed quantity take-offs and as built drawings.
Civil works include: Equipment (compressors and pumps) buildings & MCC buildings, Fin fan coolers (Condenser Units), Thermal water storage tanks, Transformers area, GT inlet cooling coils, Pipe racks & supports, Platforms, Walkways & Ladders, Site drainage, Cable trenches & Duct banks and site development works.
