BOURJ HAMMOUD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT - LEBANON

Bourj Hammoud Wastewater Treatment Plant serves the Greater Beirut Northern Collection Basin. It is designed to handle 2.16 million population equivalent for the year 2015 and 3.22 million population equivalent for the year 2040. The Average Peak Flow is 7.2m3/s. The project is proposed to be financed (100% financing) by one of several credits to be proposed by the tenderers from sources of his choice (Government to Government lines of credit, export credits, commercial credits….)

Services Undertaken include

  • Review of Feasibility Study, Preparation of Tender Documents for Design-Build and Turnkey based on FIDIC Standards for the Design, Civil Works Construction, Procurement, Supply and Installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment and Plant, Testing and Commissioning including an Optional Incineration Plant as well as Operation, Maintenance for Five years and Staff Training.
  • Preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment to World Bank Standards (Category A).
  • Evaluation of Contractor’s Offers.
