CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL SEWERS & POTABLE WATER DISTRIBUTION LINES AND THEIR HOUSE CONNECTIONS IN 18 LOCALITIES
The Project consists of Supervision of Construction of Additional Sewers And Potable Water Distribution Lines And Their House Connections in the following Localities: Tel El Abiad, Douris, Iaat, Nahle, Younine, Taybeh, Ansar, Majdaloun, Haouch Barada, Haouch Tel Safiya, Britel, Hour Taala, Talia Hammoudieh, Hezzine, Ham, Maaraboun and Tfail.
The construction of some 70 km of sewer lines ranging in diameter from 150 mm to 800 mm and some 45 km of HDPE potable water pipes and 6 km of ductile potable water pipes and 5915 water service connections to be implemented within a time period of 18 months.
Services Undertaken include:
- Assist in review of Tenders for construction works
- Review of detailed construction drawings and perform complementary or alternative designs
- Ensure the processing of all documentation for land expropriation
- Ensure the protection of all antiquities by the contractor
- Prepare, monitor and maintain cost estimates and planning schedules
- Progress monitoring and reporting
- Coordinate with contractors
- Manage claims and variation
- Certify contractor’s payments
- Ensure the preparation of as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals
- Fulfill the role of engineers within the specific guidelines
- Supervise the construction works
- Certify final completion of contract
