SUPERVISION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF BATROUN SEWER NETWORKS - Batroun, North Lebanon
The works include the Supply and Laying of about 52 km of gravity wastewater lines diameter going from 200mm up to 300mm and the Supply and Laying of about 7 km of pumping wastewater lines diameter going from 200 mm up to 600 mm. the Works also include the Construction, Equipment and commissioning of 6 wastewater pumping stations.
The provision of technical support and supervisory services to fulfill the role of Engineer, to administer the construction contracts, addenda and additions that might be issued by the Client, and to supervise the works to be performed, services include:
- Review of detailed construction drawings and performing any complementary or alternative designs deemed necessary for the proper execution of the project as determined by the consultant. To that end the consultant is urged to inspect carefully the tender documents already prepared by the design consultant
- Ensure that all documentation for land expropriation has been processed and undertake any additional expropriation or correction of expropriation documents that may arise during construction at no extra cost
- Ensure that the Contractor protect antiquities affected by construction works
- Prepare, monitor and maintain cost estimates and planning schedules
- Progress monitoring and reporting
- Co-ordinate Contractor’s works
- Manage claims and variations
- Certify Contractors’ payments
- Ensure that all as-built details, and operation and maintenance manuals, are prepared
- Fulfill the role of Engineer and administer the construction contract.
- Supervise the construction works
- Supervise rectification of defects during defects liability period
- Certify final completion of the contract
