PORT MÔLE WATERFRONT DEVELOPMENT - Libreville Gabon

Development of master plan for the construction of the Port Môle Waterfront Development project (PMWD) in Libreville, the capital of Gabon. This iconic development will expand the 4.2‐hectare existing working port, the Port Môle, by reclaiming adjacent land to create approximately 43 hectares of sustainably designed, world–class facilities including mixed commercial, recreational, residential and transportation uses. PMWD is a mixed‐use development with the following land uses:

  • Retail , Residential, Offices, Leisure
  • Hotel (high‐end hotel 250 room and boutique hotel 250 room)
  • Special projects (Convention Center, Cultural Center, Gate Towers, two marinas and the Monument Island)
  • Green and open space (including the promenades on Awondo and Arambo creeks and the Corniche)
  • Public facilities (i.e. parking structures, bus terminal)
  • Beach and football pitch

International competition awarded in JV with T.U.P./ TRAIT VERT/ ARTE CHARPENTIER & Associes / ECOSPHERE

Services Undertaken include:

  • Development of transportation plan, roads and infrastructure full design
  • Development of Landscaping and irrigation works
  • Works were followed by construction supervision services
