PRIVATISATION OF ELECTRICITÉ DU LIBAN – TECHNICAL CONSULTANCY
Provision of technical services to enable the Government to privatise Electricité du Liban.
Services undertaken include:
Provision to the Investment Bank (BNP Paribas) and the Legal Advisor (Dewey Ballantine) of Technical Advice and Assistance on behalf of the Higher Council for Privatisation and the Ministry of Energy and Water, on technical matters including:
- Material asset audit
- Network unbundling
- Environmental audit
- Operational assumptions review
- Transmission assets
- Levels of service
- Evaluation of assets based on depreciated replacement costs
Work was carried out in assistance to ELC Electroconsult (Italy).
