PRIVATISATION OF ELECTRICITÉ DU LIBAN - ECONOMIC CONSULTANCY - Lebanon

Services undertaken include:

Provision to the Investment Bank (BNP Paribas) and the Legal Advisor (Dewey Ballantine) of Economic Advice and Assistance on behalf of the Higher Council for Privatisation and the Ministry of Energy and Water, on Economic matters including:

• Proposals of Rules and Regulations for the Detailed Functioning of the Sector Regulator
• Review of the Existing Tariff Structure
• Making proposals aimed at Eliminating Cross-Subsidies
• Proposal of Tariff Regulations
• Proposal of Detailed Rules for Revenue Allocation between Generation, Transmission, Distribution
• Proposal for the Timing and Detailed Steps Necessary to implement an Independent System and Market Operator
• Feasibility of Introducing Competition in Supply
